Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik said the government will allocate a special finance pack for the development of the eastern Yemen Shabwah province. He made the remarks today a day after he arrived in the province where the armed forces had just taken full full control after driving out the invading paramilitary forces of the separatist Southern Transitional Council.
"Shabwa is positioning itself in the right place, as a leader of the national agenda," said Abdulmalik.
