Yemen's Interior Ministry has announced "work suspension" in Aden until the Southern Transitional Council militia vacate all state institutions including security and military facilities there.
The separatist militia seized all state facilities including the presidential palace in temporary capital, south of Yemen, on August 11 after clashing with the army for a few days.
The work suspension begins “from Saturday August 17 until further notice”, the Ministry's website published on Saturday.
"As it regrets its consequences, the ministry notes that this decision has been dictated by the circumstances and constitutional causes" warning that all transactions beyond the date and moment of this announcement will be accounted illegal and the offenders will be held accountable.
