Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik arrived on Monday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) capital Abu Dhabia on several day state-visit in a response to an invitation from the Emirati government.
The Minister of State for International Cooperation in the UAE Reem al-Hashimi welcomed Dr Ma'een at Abu Dhabi airport.
During his state visit Ma'een is set to meet with senior Emirati officials to discuss the latest developments in Yemen and topics of common interests.
Topics relating reconstruction and development programs are set to in focus of Ma'een's talks with the Emirati officials.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Dr Ma'een voiced high expectations of his trip describing it as historic and of paramount importance for further increasing Yemeni-Emirati cooperation in different fields.
