Yemen condemns Israeli Knesset's approval of law to execute Palestinian prisoners
The Republic of Yemen strongly condemns, in the strongest terms, the approval by what is known as the Israeli Knesset of a law stipulating the execution of Palestinian prisoners, and considers it an extremely dangerous escalation and a legislative precedent that entrenches an approach of extermination, and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a breach of international charters and agreements, namely the relevant Geneva Conventions on the protection of prisoners.

Al-Aqaili reveals Houthis' Mines crimes in Geneva

Director of National Demining Program (NDP) Brigadier Ameen al-Aqaili said "Ever since Houthi militia's coup Yemen has suffered the largest use of landmines that widely and randomly planted by Houthi militiamen in every region they controlled".

His revelation came as contributed to the periodic sessions of the signatories to the Anti Personal Mine Ban Convention which held in Geneva.

He confirmed that above 14 thousand anti-personal mines and 62 thousand anti-vehicles tanks were pulled out from different parts of Yemen planted by Iran-allied Houthi militia.

Al-Aqaili added that there are still large number of different size and shapes of landmines planted randomly in wide swaths of Yemeni territories.

"Landmines constitute serious challenge for Yemen for decades to come, they prevent many internally displaced persons from returning to their own regions, will continue to kill innocent people on daily basis" al-Aqaili said.
