PM raises Houthi violations of Stockholm Agreement with Humanitarian Coordinator
[30/04/2019 06:29]

ADEN-SABA
Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik has raised the Houthi continuous violations of the Stockholm Agreement in a meeting with the Humanitarian Coordinator Lisa Grande.

Abdulmalik cited the Houthi persistence not to withdraw from the port city of Hodeidah as a core part of the peace deal signed with the government on December 13.

He said the militia of putschists also refuse to ease the flow of humanitarian aid and rather loot t ton finance their insurgency.

He said that even though the Houthis denie the WFP access to its food stores in Hodeidah, the UN has been silent for this terrorist conduct.

He said that the Houthi prevention of offloading one million barrels of crude oil on a tanker belonging to Safer company in Ras Isa port makes the leakage of the vessel possible and subsequently the threat of an environmental disaster looms.

He called on the international community to bear full responsibility for pressuring the Houthis to allow the offloading of this tanker to prevent the danger of leakage.
