The Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) hold a meeting presided over by Deputy Governor of the CBY Mansour Rajeh and Acting Deputy Governor of Foreign Banking Sector Relations Hussein al-Quaiti discussed with directors of commercial and Islamic banks mechanisms of opening new documentary bills to merchants.
The meeting dealt with credits that did not cover supported goods from Saudi deposit that included food goods, medical equipment, construction materials and clothes.
Al-Quaiti reviewed measures and necessary receipts through which commercial banks receive credit applications by their merchant clients and approving the price of receipts for the mentioned goods of 133 YR for one Saudi Rial and 506 YR for one USD.
