Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najeeb al-Awj participated on Thursday in the 44th meetings of the Islamic Bank Group being held here.
The meetings, which continue for Saturday, discuss a number of topics associated with supporting economic development for member countries and increasing contribution of the Islamic Bank in financing infrastructure projects and human development, as well as supporting reconstruction programs.
Minister al-Awj will discuss with the bank's leadership and directors of its institutions a number of files and vital projects in fields of education, health, agriculture, fisheries, youth projects and supporting reconstruction programs, capacity building and economic revival.
The Islamic Bank for Development has been a key developmental partner to Yemen for four decades and one of senior contributors for supporting development projects.
