Hadi receives Russian presidential representative for Middle East

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received the Russia Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov here on Sunday evening.

They discussed a range of issues of common concern in regards to the developments in Yemen and in the region.

Hadi hailed the Russian support to Yemen's government and transformation based on the three terms of reference for peace; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue and the UN resolutions mainly the UNSC's resolution no. 2216 (2015).

The Russian representative affirmed the interest of his country in Yemen's stabilization and security and the support of Russia to Yemen's legitimate government.
