Info minister moderates meeting on media performance

Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani discussed with the directors of all public and private media institutions the mechanism to vitalize and improve the performance of media institutions and their important role in supporting the battle to restore state institutions back from the Houthi militia.
The meeting went over the contribution of the official media to exposing the crimes that Houthi militia have been committing against the Yemeni people since the invasion of Sana'a in September 2014 .
Al-Eryani praised the brotherly support of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition since the launch of the Decisive Storm operation on 26 March 2015.
He said that "March 26 marks a milestone in the history of Yemen when the (Arab) brethren answered the appeal of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to save Yemen from the coup of the Houthi militia, which was seeking to turn Yemen into an Iran-affiliated state.
He said that Saudi Arabia's leadership, government and people have a prominent role in standing with Yemen, which affirms the depth of brotherhood ties and principle of shared destiny.
