Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. FM, Swedish Envoy to Yemen discuss developments on implementing Stockholm Agreement

Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled al-Yemanydiscussed on Monday with Swedish Envoy to Yemen Peter Simny discussed on Monday developments on implementing Stockholm agreement between the government of Yemen and Houthi rebel militia.

Al-Yemany acquainted the Swedish envoy with government's efforts for making the agreement successful as an opportunity and hope for realizing inclusive peace in Yemen, pointing to Houthi militia stubbornness and unwilling on implementing the agreement.

He called for exerting pressure on Houthi militia and their Iranian supporters to implement the agreement.

For his part, the Swedish envoy confirmed that his country will exert every possible effort for implementing Stockholm agreement for realizing inclusive peace in Yemen.
