Minister of Planning explores World Bank's support for reconstruction, economic recovery

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeeb al-Aweg held talks on Wednesday here with Regional Director of the World Bank (WB) for Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Marina Wes .
The discussions aimed to increase cooperation between the Yemeni government and WB and establish effective coordination about mobilizing joint efforts to secure necessary resources for reconstruction and economic recovery.
Al-Aweg conversations with Wes intended to explore more substantial support by the WB for development to help the government manage the economic hardships caused by the ongoing war.
For her part, Wes stated that the WB will keep on providing Yemen with support for development drive.
