Al-Maflahi : National Committee documented, investigated above 14 thousand incidents

Chairman of National Committee for investigation into allegations of human rights abuses Judge Ahmed al-Maflahi said the Committee has managed to document 9829 incidents of violations against 20 thousand and 907 of the victims and investigated 4thousand and 517 incidents categorized into 20 types of abuses.
His statement came as he contributed on Thursday to a seminar the committee held in the temporary capital Aden. The discussions focused on the prosecution of the perpetrators of human rights violations.
A number of judges, prosecutors, activists, lawyers and media men and women engaged in the deliberations.
Deputy Minister of Human Rights Dr Samear Asheibani contributed to the discussions.
