Marib Governor, Transport Minister discuss transportation development in Marib

The Governor of Marib, Maj. Gen. Sultan Al-Eradah and the Minister of Transport Saleh Al-Jabwani discussed development of the land and air transportation infrastructure in the province.

The eastern Yemen city is seeing a fast rise of constructions, trade and investments.

Al-Eradah praised the great support Al-Jabwani offers to developing the transport sector and to expediting the establishment of an international airport in Marib, a project that the political leadership represented by the President, the Vice President and the Prime Minister pay much attention to.

Minister Al-Jabwani revealed that a team of engineers from the Saudi program for Yemen Reconstruction, the Yemeni Transports Ministry and Marib's local authority have wrapped up their technical studies for the project implementation and that fencing the project site is set to begin.
