A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Ba'om inspects preparations for Gulf Week on cancer awareness

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. NaserBa'om inspected on Monday preparations for holding Gulf Week activities on awareness against cancer to be held in Aden on February.

Meeting with the preparatory committee for the activities of the Gulf Week, Ba'om valued efforts exerted by Anti-Tumors Center for alleviating suffering of the patients, calling the center to double efforts for curing patients in the country.

He pointed out that the ministry will provide different expensive medicines to the center, noting that a center for radiation therapy will be opened.

He called on the local and international organizations to provide necessary aid to cancer patients.
