President al-Alimi Warns Houthis Against Continued Escalation
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi has renewed his warning to the Houthi terrorist militias against continuing their escalation and gambling with the interests of the Yemeni people in pursuit of the Iranian regime's agenda, stressing that the group's destructive course will only further drain the country's resources and will not alter Yemenis' determination to end the coup and restore state institutions.

Council of OIC Foreign Ministers reiterates support for legitimate government in Yemen

Preparatory meeting for 46th round of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states reiterated constant support for the legitimate leadership and government of Yemen headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

The session which held on Monday in the city of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reiterated full support for President Hadi's efforts aiming to achieve security , political and economic stability in Yemen and resuming political process to find out political solution based on the full implementation of the GCC's Infinitive, its executive mechanisms, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council, namely resolution 2216 of 2015.

The statement issued by the gathering welcomed the outcomes of the UN-led consultations held in Stockholm from December 6 through 13 of 2018. The conveners called for full implementation of Stockholm's Agreement about Hodeida, prisoners exchange and lifting blockade imposed by the Houthi militia on Taiz as stipulated by International Security Council resolution 2451 of 2018.
