Mareb Security Committee discussed in its regular meeting on Wednesday the province's security plan 2019 and evaluation of 2018 plan for overcoming challenges.

The plan includes a number of issues associated with strengthening security and fighting crime in the province, as well as cracking down security wanted elements and terrorist elements.

The meeting dealt also with coordination between security and military forces and capacity building of security forces and improving infrastructure.

Governor of Mareb Sultan al-Erada praised security accomplishments achieved in 2018 and reflected security integration and social cooperation and support to security forces.

He stressed significance of improving performance of security forces and combating crime before happening, pointing out that security file is on the top list of their priorities.
