Yemen, Germany discuss preparations for strategic dialogue on peace

Yemen's Ambassador to Germany Dr. Yahya al-Shubaibi discussed on Sunday with Director of Middle East Department in German Foreign Ministry preparations for holding the activity on the strategic dialogue for peace and stability in Yemen on January 16.
The activity, which is financed by Germany, will be attended by the UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith and UN Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator Lise Grande.
The meeting tackled peace efforts on the bases of Stockholm agreement and accomplished results and levels of implementing the treaty by the two parties.
Ambassador al-Shuaibi stressed significance of serious position from the international community and pressure on Houthi militia for stopping its maneuvers on dealing positively with peace efforts.
The German official confirmed his country's efforts within efforts of the UN for peace in Yemen.
