Governors of Lahj, Abyan, al-Dhalea governorates swear-in before President al-Alimi

The newly appointed governors of the governorates of Lahj Murad al-Halimi, of Abyan Dr. Mukhtar al-Rabbash and of al-Dhale Maj. General Ahmed al-Qubba took the constitutional oath today, Saturday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

The Governor of HadramoutFaraj Al-Bahsani and the Deputy Minister of Information Hussein Baslim, discussed here today the situation of media institutions inHadhramout.

The governor confirmed that the media institutions are sponsored and supported by the the local authority in the governorate based on the authority's belief in the importance of the media.

He praised the media activities in the coastal and WadiHadramout despite the scarcity of resources and the difficulty of the current circumstances .

The Deputy Minister of Information also held a separate meeting with a number of journalists and media professionals in the city of Mukallaand discussed with them a number of issues related to the media institutions operating in the province.
