The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Najeeb Al-Awj, and a delegation from the European Union headquarters in Brussels discussed in a meeting in the Jordanian capital on Wednesday the strategic plan for development cooperation especially the EU's upcoming coming interventions in supporting Yemen's comprehensive economic growth and private sector development.
The EU's mission was headed by the director of the Directorate for Asia, Central Asia, Middle East/Gulf and Pacific PierreAmilhat.
The minister praised the support provided by the European Union to Yemen, stressing the need for providing support through the official channels of the government in line with the priorities of the government, and for building the capacity of national institutions.
