[10/12/2018 03:35]

ADEN - SABA
Prime Minister MaeenAbdulmalik said: "It is regrettable that as the world marks the International Day of Human Rights this year, Yemen is facing a humanitarian misery as a result of the coup d'état mounted by the Houthi militia"in September 2014.

Addressing a celebration of the Day organized by the Human Rights Ministry in Aden on Monday, he said the militia are "not only violating all human rights but also worsening their crime by dividing the Yemeni nation" by bigotry and thespread of hatred.

"President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi had been leading Yemen at a critical time of transition toward a federal state before the militia mounted the coup."

He said that cornerstone for restoring the considerationof human rights and national peace should now come by ending that coup..

He hailed the Yemeni women "for having been always a symbol of sacrifice and endurance" saying they should be given their deserved status in the society. "Any society that does not give women their deserved status, will remain confined in the cycle of violence and imprisoned in the past."
