President Al-Alimi Praises Armed Forces Readiness and Heroic Resilience

Yemen's Ambassador to Japan Samir Khamis discussed on Wednesday with representatives of Japanese non-governmental organizations humanitarian projects and relief interventions under the difficult conditions Yemen is going through.

Ambassador Khamis reviewed humanitarian situations development over the war triggered by Houthi rebel militia, pointing to the organizations' projects being implemented in Yemen in fields of health, education, water and emergency relief to affected displaced people.

He valued efforts of Japanese organizations and their aid-contributions for alleviating suffering of the Yemeni people.
Ambassador Khamis pointed to the humanitarian catastrophe in Mahra province over the tropical storm Luban hit the province last month.
