Governor of Sa'ada prvonce Maj. General Hadi Tarshan Al-Waeli confirmed that national military troops have managed to clear 50% of Sa'ada's total area from Iran-backed Houthi militia.

" Government's armed forces have battling the militiamen in Marran mountains, the stronghold of Iran-backed militia's leader", Al-Waeli said.

Speaking at press conference he held Statuary in Marib city about the latest developments pertaining to the ongoing combat operations in Sa'adah the governor stated that the military has launched large-scale military operations include five fronts."

The troops have managed to drive the militiamen out of 50% of the total geographic area of the province, he said.
