Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulraqeeb Fatah met Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden, with Head of Projects Section in the Kuwaiti Society for Relief (KSR) Muhmood Al-Massah and Director of the KSR in Yemen Shawqi Ba'dheam.
Fatah explored the KSR immediate intervention in relieving Al-Maharah province where projects in infrastructure are urgently needed to manage the grave damages caused by Luban tropical storm.
Discussions touched upon the KSR's action- plan in forthcoming period in Yemen, increasing its activities to cover all Yemeni provinces and offering relief aid urgently needed in the west coast.
For his part, Al-Massah stated that the KSR is going to establish an office in the interim capital Aden to coordinate, follow and supervise the KSR funded-projects and activities.
He also cited several projects to be carried out in the coming period including establishing Motherhood and Childhood Hospital in Aden, furnishing and equipping projects at the two universities of Aden and Hudramout and repairing a number of houses in the provinces of Taiz, Aden, Marib and Al-Jawf.
