An authorized government source repudiated the circulated reports regarding the issuance of government directives to close Aden International Airport to air traffic, affirming that the government has not issued any directives to close the airport, nor there is any such decision issued by the leadership of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy.

Yemen participates in the 30th Arab Minister Council's round in Cairo

Yemen has participated on Thursday in the activities of the 30th Round of Arab Ministers Council on environment with a delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Water and Environment Ammar al-Awlaqi.

Al-Awlaqi reviewed situation in Mahra Province and damages in the service and key establishments over the tropical storm Luban.

He warned of expected catastrophe in Taiz due to accumulation of wastes over Houthi siege on the city for three years.

He pointed to government's efforts in field of relief and normalizing live in liberated areas as well as tackling effects of ground and marine environment in Yemen over the war triggered by Houthi rebel militia, praising the role of the Saudi-led Coalition for providing relief and other humanitarian aid to people of Mahra and other liberated provinces.

The round's meetings have been opened by handing over the presidency of the 30th round to the Republic of Lebanon.

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary General of the Arab League, attended the opening session.
