Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Mansour Bajjash has praised position of the Republic of China for supporting the government of Yemen and political process and its contribution of humanitarian relief efforts,.
This position reflects deepness of friendly relations between the two friendly countries, added Bajjash.
In his meeting with Chinese Ambassador Kang Yong on Tuesday, Bajjash expressed hope that China will contribute significantly in reconstruction efforts, confirming that Chinese companies get confidence and keenness of the government of Yemen and there will be big space for realizing joint interests of the two countries in reconstruction field.
He stressed the central role of China for supporting the security and stability of the region and exerting pressure on Iran for stopping support to Houthi militia and sectarian incitement in the Middle East area.
For his part, the Chinese diplomat confirmed that Yemen is considered one of Chinese focus pillars for its strategic location overlooking the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.
He renewed his country's concern on fruitful contribution in supporting the political process in Yemen for realizing peace and stability on the bases of the three agreed upon references.
He pointed to China's interest in reconstruction and pushing Yemen's development forward.
