Minister of Education Abdullah Lamlas discussed with the Director General of UN Food and Agricultural Organization José Graziano da Silva supporting school nutrition.
Lamlas reviewed latest developments in Yemen, pointing to economic deterioration over the war triggered by Houthi rebel militia, who loot relief aid and state's revenues.
Talking about damages left by the tropical storm Luban in Mahra, Minister Lamlas called the organization for partnership with World Food Program for supporting the School Nutrition Project implemented by the program.
For his part, the UN official confirmed care of the organization in humanitarian situation in Yemen to be included with the organization's priorities.
He stressed significance of integration of international efforts for limiting deterioration of food security and nutrition in Yemen and avoiding famine.
