Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr has said according to the initial information, the Cyclone Luban would hit some coastal areas and is currently approaching Aden, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadhramout and Socotra.
He directed the government to rise readiness to highest level and make all necessary preparations to face the expected effects and evacuate people- if possible- from the areas could be hit by the cyclone.
Earlier, Prime Minister phoned acting governor of Aden Province and governors of Abyan, Hadhramout, Shabwa, Mahra and Socotra on the situations and weather there.
