Yemeni Parliament participates in 37th session of Arab Parliamentary Union, consultations of Islamic Parliamentary Group
The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mohsen Basra, along with MPs Mohamed al-Naqeeb and Abdullah al-Naamani, participated today, Sunday, in the 37th extraordinary session of the Arab Parliament Union, held in the city of Geneva, within the framework of the 151st session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Relief and humanitarian organizations in Socotra discuss emergency preparations

A meeting held Tuesday in Socotra Archipelagos included relief and humanitarian organizations and senior local authority officials in charge.
The session aimed to explore necessary precautions and emergency plans to response to any potential natural disasters may occur due to tropical storms.
Sheikhs and community leaders were also urged to form rescue teams to help in emergency.
