RIYADH-SABA

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher directed Sunday the Oil Company to supply the market with fuels supplies in the province of Aden and nearby provinces as soon as possible to meet the peoples' needs. The Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) is ordered to pay the cost of the fuels in hard currency to ensure non- prices manipulation.

Dr Bin-Dagher gave his instruction as he met Sunday with senior officials in charge including adviser of the President of the Republic, Chairman of the Economic Committee Hafez Mea'ayd, Minister of Finance Ahmed Al-Fadhli and Governor of the CBY Dr Mohammed Zemam.

The meeting decided to authorize Aden Refinery Corporate and Oil Company to secure fuels supplies in every petrol and gas station in Aden and surrounding provinces as soon as possible.

The Oil Company also has been authorized to repair its petrol and gas stations which suffered damage due to the war and establish new ones in order to help providing the citizens with fuels supplies.

It is worth mentioning that the government has secured the needed hard currencies through the CBY to help the Oil Company and Refinery Corporate to put Prime Minister's instruction in place.
