His Excellency (HE) President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi asserted the deep fraternal Yemeni-Kuwaiti relations that proved steady in different stages and circumstances which reflects the common solidarity in dealing with the risks and challenges that Arab nation has been facing.

HE highly praised Kuwait's supportive stances alongside Yemen and its support for Yemen's national consensus and constitutional legitimacy in different international platforms including International Security Council that the State of Kuwait is now a periodical member now.

President Hadi's statement came as he met Monday in New York with Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sobah Khaled Al-Sobah on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's sessions.

For his part, Sheikh Sobah reiterated Kuwait's support for Yemen and its legitimate leadership in order to achieve the Yemeni peoples' aspirations for peace, security and stability.

The meeting touched upon several topics of common interests.

Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yemany and Director of the President Office Dr Abdullah Al-Alimi were in attendance.
