VP praises President Hadi's call on GPC's leaders to nationally align themselves

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh held a preliminary meeting Tuesday included leaders of Hajah Province a number of representatives of the political constituencies, senior civil officials and social dignitaries with the presence of the governor of the province Maj. General Abdulkareem Assonaini.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen welcomed the audience, highly commending the participation by Hajah's population in different fronts, appreciating significant victories gained by the armed forces backed by Arab Coalition against Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia.

The Vice President deeply appreciated unflinching support provided by Saudi-led Arab Coalition with great contribution by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in blood and treasures to our fateful Arab battle aimed to restore the Yemeni State and thwart the subversive Iranian scheme.

In a key word he gave, the Vice President talked about the grass-roots of the Yemeni problem which resulted in the Imamate-Iranian Houthi militia's coup d'état against the legitimate authority and confiscating the Yemeni State and reneging on the Yemeni peoples' consensual options. He described September21 , 2014 as a day of calamity for the Yemeni people when the militia took over the state's institutions, causing Yemenis unbearable suffering won't be end except for eliminating the coup and defeating Al-Houthi.

The Vice President applauded the efforts have been made by the President of the Republic Field Marshal Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, appreciating his good offices aimed to bring the General People Congress (GPC) party together, unify its ranks. He cited President Hadi's meeting on the side line of his state-visit to Cairo with a number of the senior leaders of the GPC and his call for putting differences aside, joining efforts and unifying ranks to counter the Houthi putschist militia, regain Republican regime, the state's institutions and go on building the new federal Yemen.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen said:" It is critical stage that our country has been going through requires all of us to boost the GPC's activity and restore its role and position as leading political organization has played a pioneering role in national politics. So it is very important to resume its missions in accordance with the party's organizational literature as one of the most outstanding political constituencies which call for establishing a functional state and reinstate the legitimate authority, and renounce what the militia produces of chaos and destruction putting the entire political action at stake" .

The Vice President added:" I do advise my colleagues and sons of the leaders, ranks and supporters of the GPC to align themselves behind the legitimate leadership headed by His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to get rid of the Iranian-Houth scheme and to maintain the Republic and the Yemeni Revolution's goals and going on building the new federal Yemen of six provinces".

(Lt Gen) Mohssen stressed the pivotal role of the tribe in protecting the Republican regime and objectives of the two Yemeni Revolutions September and October. He cited Al-Houthi's attempts aimed to portray the tribe as if it is subordinate entity associated with him. He pointed out to several solutions to the Yemen cause and to help the country overcome the disastrous situation the Iran-backed militia has produced. One the solution is join to the national military, mobilize the Yemeni people and reinforces the fronts in order to retake all the regions and increase awareness about the danger of the Imamate theocracy.

The governor expressed appreciation for the Vice President interest in the province.
