VP, Minister of Information discuss official media actions

Minster of Information Mu'amer Al-Iryani detailed the Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh about underway efforts have been made by the Ministry to activate official media institutions so that they can do their job properly.

The Vice President was briefed by Al-Iryani on the current situation of official media and the role it plays in countering the militia's coup and backing up the legitimate government.

The Minister also cited the challenges and obstacles the official media has been facing so that the state-run media outlets can't do their job effectively.

The Vice President stressed the importance of adopting and promoting a united media discourse, urging the official media institutions to keep abreast with the technological development in media business and the accelerated events in national arena.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen pointed out to the great sacrifices have been extended by the Yemeni people alongside with the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in order to push back the remnants of Imamate and regain the State." Greater media role is necessary to keep abreast with the huge sacrifices offered, further enhance the principles of the Yemeni Revolution and Republic and pave the way to the federal state, and expose the militia's crimes and violations", said Mohssen.
