Minister of Local Administration, the Chairman of the Higher Committee for Relief Aid Abdulraqeeband the representative of the World Food Program, Mohamed Ali Mahmoud, discussed in Aden on Tuesday the WFP's plan for the second half of 2018, and the increment of relief aid allocations for a number of provinces including the western coast provinces.
They also discussed the new mechanisms that the WFP will follow to reach to the needy in all provinces, and ensuring a decentralization of relief work.
On his part Mahmoud stressed the continuity of coordination with the Higher Committee for Relief Aid and local authorities of the provinces.
He noted that the relief aid decentralization plan presented by the Committee has greatly contributed to avoiding the problems faced by the WFP in the past.
