Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Mohamed Al-Saadiand the World Bank Country Manager for Yemen Raja Kattan discussed in Cairo today the portfolio of projects currently financed by the World Bank in Yemen and the development of partnership with the World Bank in the coming period to meet the national plans for reconstruction and economic recovery.
They discussed the joint efforts to complete the third phase of the dynamic assessment of war damage, the Bank's reconstruction plan and integrated urban reconstruction projects.
Al-Saadi stressed the importance of the World Bank's contribution to helping Yemen fulfill the due projects of the coming period.
On his part, Kattan reiterated the WB's commitment to providing all available support to Yemen, stressing that the next phase will witness a steady development in the bilateral cooperation between the bank and Yemen.
