President Hadi orders a committee to look over Al-Maharah's situations

President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has directed establishing a committee to inspect the basic services, development and security situations in the province of Al-Maharah and report about the needed services and requirements in order to take necessary measures about.

President Hadi met Tuesday in the interim capital Aden with a number of social dignitaries, military personalities and Sheikhs of Al-Maharah province. The attendees included Minister of State, Member of Council of Ministers Maj. General Mohammed Abdullah Kadah, two members of Shoura Council Ahmed Qahtan and Tawakul Salimain and Chairman of the High Council of the populations of the two provinces of Al-Maharah and Socotra.

The President applauded security and stability that the people of Al-Maharah have maintained for decades as they put the province's interest above all. He also appreciated the alignment of Al-Maharah's population with legitimate leadership of the country and their support for the government to counter the Iran-backed Houthi militia's devastating schemes.

President Hadi stated that Al-Maharah province is paid special attention by the government and significant developmental projects are allocated to Al-Maharah by the brethren in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The President advised joining efforts and devoting resources to serve the development in the province; urging further efforts to control smuggling activities that negatively affected the country served the putschists' interests over the past period.
