Yemen's Ambassador to Nouakchott Dr Salim Al-Arradah met Monday with the Mauritanian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Sydi Salim Al-Abd.

Aspects of Yemeni-Mauritanian cooperation in the academic sphere were discussed.

The latest developments about political, military and humanitarian situations in Yemen were also touched upon.

The Mauritanian Minister underlined his country's interest in further increasing cooperation in the educational domain between the two countries. He also reaffirmed his country's principled stance in supporting the legitimate Yemeni government represented by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
