The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. Khamis meets Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee in Japanese House of Representatives

Yemen's ambassador to Tokyo, Samir Mohammed Khamis, met the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs at the Japanese House of Representatives Nakayama Yasuhide in the Japanese capital on Wednesday.

They discussed the friendly Yemen-Japan relations and means of enhancing them in various fields.

Khamis praised Japan's support for the Yemeni government in its efforts to achieve peace and end the war, and appreciated the humanitarian aid of Japan to Yemen.

He reviewed the latest developments on the Yemeni arena, especially the recent developments related to the liberation of Hodeidah and its seaport.

He pointed to the government's concern about the city's population who are suffering severe rights violations and a humanitarian crisis under the Houthi militants control .

Kamis indicated that the militia has been levying the ports income to finance and perpetuate the war against the Yemeni people.
