Vice President Ali Mohssen Saleh sent a cable of congratulation to his American counterpart Mike Pence on his country's National Day of Independence.

In his cable the Vice President voiced appreciation for the US supportive stance to legitimacy in Yemen, noting that Yemeni political leadership is looking forward to work together for fighting terrorism and establishing peace and stability in Yemen.

the Vice President pointed to the threats Yemen has been facing from the terrorist groups on top of all Iran-backed Houthi group which reneged against the Yemeni peoples' will, national and international terms of references including GCC's Initiative, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council Resolution 2216, besides that the militia is strenuously seeking to threatening national security and international peace and marine navigation..

The Vice President expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes the US Vice President and more progress and prosperity for the friendly American people. He also wished further increasing Yemeni-American cooperation in security, political and economic fields.
