The Government of Yemen has expressed its deep concern and regret regarding the recent decision made by the U.S. Administration to restrict the entry of citizens of the Republic of Yemen to the United States, as part of a group of countries included in this decision.

Yemen condemns assassination attempt against Prime Minister of Ethiopia

Republic of Yemen has condemned with the most powerful words the assassination attempt that targeted the Prime Minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali whilst he was addressing rally of supporters in the capital Addis Ababa. The attack resulted in killing one man and wounding some 130.
In a statement the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Yemeni Foreign Ministry stated that it denounces this criminal action that targets stability, peace, national unity and reforms process in the friendly Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The Ministry reiterates that the Republic of Yemen is standing alongside with the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and it does support all necessary measure the Ethiopian government may take to ensure its security, stability and unity.
