Government team discussed with World Bank delegation ways to strengthen partnership expand development projects
A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

VP Praises Hudramout province population's support for legitimate government.

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh voiced his appreciation for the fellows in Hudramout province for their support to the legitimacy and making the province a shelter for all Yemenis in the wake of the coup d'état the country has been experiencing.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen's statement came as he met Monday with the deputy governor of Hudramout province, Omer bin Habreesh.

Bin Habreesh reported to the Vice President about the situations in the province and the development activities. He also cited the local authorities' efforts aiming to establish the State's principles and institutions.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen stated that the political leadership is very interested in Hudramout as one of the would-be six provinces federal Yemen. He affirmed that the government is keen to provide the province with necessary support.
