Yemen's ambassador to Tokyo Sameer Mohammed Khamis met Thursday with the Director of Social Equality in the Japanese Foreign Ministry, KyuKo Hoku.
Houthi militia's grave violations against the children and women in Yemen were a key focus of Khamis's conversations with the Japanese official.
He cited the wide-range of violations the militia has been committing against the Yemeni peoples including child recruitment, assaulting women who protests against the militia's atrocities, forcing female students in schools to chant the militia's slogan.
The meeting also touched upon cooperation between the two countries in the area of gender equality in educational, social and occupational fields.
