The governor of Mahrah Rajeh Ba-Kreit has launched the distribution of urgent food aid from the Arab Coalition to the people of Shehn and Hat desert districts in the eastern Yemen province.
B-Kreit affirmed that the local authority had been planning precautionary measures including such aid deliveries to the people affected by the cyclonic storm Mekunu that hit Yemen's eastern coasts and Socotra archipelago.
