President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi presided over a meeting Monday brought together his advisers, Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh and Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi.
The meeting devoted to discuss the latest developments in the country in different fields.
The President cited the military advancements and victories gained by the government's troops alongside the local resistance fighters backed by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition and United Arab Emirates in the battles against the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
President Hadi briefed his senior advisers on his activities and contacts with Arab leaders and foreign officials over the past period.
The President praised the significant role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the good offices made by the Saudi leadership that helped to manage the implications of the recent events of the province of Socotra Archipelagos. He stated that the Saudi good offices have already proved helpful, produced constructive outcomes that can further maintain coherence and achieve the Arab Coalition's objectives in Yemen: to defeat the Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup and reinstate the legitimate authority.
The meeting voiced appreciation for the noble stances of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense for their constant support for Yemen and its legitimate leadership in different stages and circumstances.
The latest one is that they have launched the Operations of Esnad Center for Development in Yemen, mainly in the province of Socotra Archipelagos and other provinces.
