Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Info. Minister meets with AL's Assistant Secretary General for Media

Minister of Information Mua'mer Al-Iryani met on Thursday with the Assistant of the Arab League (AL) Secretary General for Media and Communication Hifa Abu Ghazala.

The meeting held on the sideline of the sessions of the Council of Arab Information Ministers.

Al-Iryani's conversations with Abu Ghazala focused on the challenges that Yemeni media has been struggling with because of the Houthi militia's coup.

Al-Iryani detailed Abu Ghazala on the legitimate government's efforts aimed to re-establish the Press freedoms in the government-held regions.

He also voiced the government's desire to further increase cooperation with the Media and Communication Department of AL.

The Info. Minister urged the AL Media and Communication Department to intensify the efforts so as to help revealing the violations and harassments that Houthi militia has been committing against the Yemeni media outlets, men and women.

For her part, Abu Ghazala promised to do her own best to redouble the efforts by the AL Media Department in order to shed lights on the Houthi militia's violations and atrocities.
