VP: Militia's misuse of oil sector additional crime exacerbates the peoples' torment

Vice President Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh blamed Houthi militia for targeting oil sector, describing that as systematic policy the militia has embarked on to ruin the national economy.

The Vice President's statement came as he met Sunday with the Undersecretary of Ministry of Oil and Mineral Eng. Shawqi Al-Mekhlafi.

Al-Mekhalfi detailed (Lt Gen) Mohssen on the Ministry's efforts aiming to re-operate petroleum sector. He also reported to the Vice President about the underway contacts with oil companies that should come back to the country and resume their oil businesses.

The Vice President sressted that it is important to re-operate oil industry as soon as possible, given that is urgently needed to bail out the national economy.
