Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr launched on Saturday the first phase of the project of rehabilitating al-Hisn Water Field here carried out by "Kuwait by Your Side" Campaign and financed by the Yemeni-Kuwaiti Relief Authority.
He launches pumping water from the field to Aden.
In a statement to Saba, Prime Minister praised efforts of the state of Kuwait for their support to Yemen. He confirmed that Yemeni people will continue to be grateful to the state of Kuwait for its support in the past, present and future support.
Prime Minister bin-Daghr, along with Abyan Governor General Abu Bakr Hussein and Minister of Electricity and Energy Abdullah al-Akwa', inspected Abyan Power Plant and the ongoing work of installation of additional 10 MW.
The new additional power will be launched next week for alleviating suffering of the people over power electricity blackouts over power shortage.
He also inspected al-Razi Hospital and toured its facilities. He was briefed by Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Naser Bawm on services of the hospital and damages hit it after al-Qaeda seized Abyan in 2011.
He directed of rehabilitating the rest facilities of the hospital and supplying it with necessary equipment.
