Minister of Public Works and Roads, MoeenAbdulmalekSaeed met today in Washington, DC, with the head of Highways and Transport Sector at the World Bank for North Africa and the Near East and with thedirector of Sustainable Development Programs and other WB transportation experts.
The meeting reviewed the Yemeni ministry's plan for highways and transportation recovery with a view to restoring the efficiency of the transportation system in Yemen, so as to facilitate the arrival of goods and movement of citizens and repair the road damages left by the Houthiarmed insurgency.
The meeting discussed the institutional and capacity building for the ministry'sunits and the results achieved during the past year.
