Health officials revise World Bank, UNICEF health project across the south

Health Officials have revised and evaluated the Emergency Project of Public Health and Nutrition (EPPHN) during 2017 and future plans of the project.

In the meeting held here on Tuesday and organized by the World Bank and UNICEF, 87 officials from southern and eastern provinces evaluated a package of services financed by the project and different faces of support.

Opening the meeting, Representative of the Ministry of Public Health and Population Dr. ShadenYousof confirmed keenness of the ministry on creating real partnership with the UNICEF and the World Bank for making all activities related to health sector successful.

For his part, Director of Public Health and Population Office in Aden Dr. Jamal Khudabikhsh confirmed evaluation of the program and defining the positive results and faults and overcoming them.

He stressed on making plans for the second phase of the project for boosting health and nutrition services in different facilities and boosting teamwork for promoting the work.
