Al-Maliki said that by examining the debris of the object by the Coalitionspecialists, it was found to be a hostileHouthidrone with Iranian specifications. "It was trying to target the airport which is protected under international humanitarian law."
He said that by examining the debris of the other object that was trying to attack the civilian facility it was found identical to the debris from the drone that attempted on the airport.
The Coalition Forces command warned in the strongest terms the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against targeting civilian facilities and civilians. It saidthat the militia's terrorist style vehemence to attack civilian facilities by any means will be deterred firmly.
