Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Engineer Ahmed Al-Maisari discussed Wednesday with Chief of Security in the province of Lahj Brigadier Saleh Assayed security situations in the province.
Al-Maisari stressed the importance of reinstating police stations in the different districts of the province which have seen violent acts and security troubles.
Brigadier Assayed reported to the Minister of Interior about the challenges facing the security services. He cited the damage that police station premises suffered due to the militia war as an example of the obstruction to establishing security in the province.
The Minister assured that the Ministry of Interior is keen to provide the necessary support to improve security services in Lahj and elsewhere in the government-held provinces.
